Acupressure &
Manual Therapy

01.

Acupressure

Acupressure is an ancient Asian treatment technique that can relieve pain by putting pressure on certain points and meridians. A professional practitioner can also help resolve your symptoms by activating the body's innate recovery ability, allowing you to return to a natural, comfortable state.

02.

Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy is extremely helpful for patients suffering from sports-related pain or fatigue. It also helps in overcoming various suboptimal health conditions caused by work pressure, such as insomnia, headaches, abdominal distension, and long-term constipation. Generally, for sports-related pain or injuries, patients can see obvious results in one or two weeks. With other treatments, the same results can take a month or longer.

03.

Tui Na

Tui Na is a hands-on body treatment that uses Chinese Daoist principles in an effort to bring the eight principles of traditional Chinese medicine into balance. The doctor may brush, knead, roll, press, and rub the areas between each of the joints—known as the eight gates—in an attempt to open the body's defensive chi (Wei Qi) and get the energy moving in the meridians and the muscles. The doctor can then use range of motion, traction, and the stimulation of acupressure points. These techniques aid in the treatment of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many non-musculoskeletal conditions.

04.

Hot Stone Tui Na

The doctor combines hot stone and Tui Na techniques to maximize the treatment effect. This method helps achieve deep acupoint and muscle relaxation, and it can relieve anxiety and help patients release mental stress.

05.

Luo Jiu Gong (Taoist Abdominal Tui Na)

This traditional Taoist method is another treatment of healing and wellness we use in our practice. Taoists believe the abdomen is like the eight diagrams (Ba Gua), and different areas of the abdomen can be stimulated through Tui Na to improve organ functions and balance health. This practice can treat and be very beneficial for some difficult diseases.

06.

Pediatric Tui Na

Pediatric Tui Na is a non-medicine and non-needle natural therapy for infants and young children. The practitioner chooses special pediatric acupressure points on the head, abdomen, back, and limbs to perform gentle Tui Na, which can relieve various common childhood symptoms such as nausea, indigestion, fever, cough, poor sleep quality at night, and other issues. This treatment can be very beneficial for young children.
